You know the saying, “keep your friends close and you’re enemies closer”? Well, that’s exactly what Kylizzle Jenner is doing. The lip-kit queen is playing nice with a makeup artist who threatened to sue her! Ironic? Shade? An Olive Branch? Honestly, we're not sure what to think about Kylie's latest post! Backstory! Back in November of last year, makeup artist and photographer, Vlada Haggerty threatened to sue Kylie because she claimed the reality star stole her images for Kylie cosmetics - this according to TMZ. See the similarities? “Really, Kylie Cosmetics?” Vlada wrote. “Haven't you gotten enough inspiration from me already?” Also, note Kylie's signature logo: the dripping lips? Turns out Vlada has been using dripping lips in her work much longer than the 19 year old. Now, the LA based makeup artist threatened to sue, but actually she never went through with the lawsuit - and Kylie never breathed a word of the incident. Until now. Over the weekend, Kylie shared a photo on her Instagram page - dripping metallic lips. “This really is everything,” she wrote. “Check out the wonderful makeup art of Vladamua.” If the image looks familiar to you, it's because this was one of the images Kylie Cosmetics allegedly stole. Months ago Kylie Cosmetics posted this same photo to their Instagram page - and the image actually made headlines! The beauty world was buzzing thinking Kylie was about to release metallic lip kits! So now Kylie posted the photo again - only this time she gave credit where credit is due. And fans definitely noticed. One Insta user wrote, “Finally you are giving her credit. you still stole her ideas.” Another said, “thank you for finally giving credit to the original creator.” And some speculated WHY Kylie posted the photo. “Vladamua, I’m assuming you won the case against her com pay or at least reached a settlement. I'm glad they finally gave you credit instead of constantly stealing your work and making money off it. SMH.” What do you think? Did Kylie do the right thing by giving a shout out to the make up artist or was this all to get out of trouble? Let us know in the comments below!
