A Sterling man is under arrest after the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office says he exposed himself while a neighbor was hosting a child's birthday party. The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office says 49-year old William J. Campbell was charged with indecent exposure.

The apparent embezzlement of more than $250,000 in seized drug money by a Loudoun County sheriff's deputy, still unresolved after nearly 18 months, is now becoming an issue in the sheriff's first reelection campaign. A former top commander for Loudoun Sheriff Mike Chapman is alleging that Chapman failed to stop the deputy from stealing $50,000 after the problem was noticed, and that Chapman has wrongly claimed credit for uncovering the embezzlement, while also attacking Chapman's management of budget and staff.
