Taking the place of the automated voice at Orlando International that informs travelers to stand clear of doors will now be the voice of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer , reports the Orlando Sentinel. In addition to Dyer's recorded "stand clear" message, he will also explain a few of the many things to see in Orlando during a visit, and when leaving Orlando, the exit message reminds travelers to come again.

A man who was heading to the gym chased down a would-be purse snatcher after he attacked a 76-year-old woman outside an Orlando Winn-Dixie. Kendrick Taylor told WESH he heard the woman screaming for help on Wednesday and ran after the man.

The sexual misconduct allegations against former Casselberry Police Chief Bill McNeil could grow to include even more women, attorney Carlos Burruezo said Friday. City spokeswoman Sara Brady denied Burruezo's claim, saying the city first learned of any allegations against McNeil from a WFTV reporter on Wednesday afternoon.

The Florida AM University band performs in Orlando, Fla., during the school's season-opening football game against Mississippi Valley State. It was the band's first appearance in a football stadium in nearly 22 months after the 2011 hazing death of a drum major.
