A volunteer paramedic was arrested after accusations that he had inappropriate contact with an underage female, according to the Loudon County Sheriff's Office. Timothy M. Ward, 31, was charged with indecent liberties with a child by a person in a custodial or supervisory relationship and use of a communication device to solicit a child, WUSA9 reports.

Loudoun County sheriff's deputies arrested a motorist for driving while intoxicated early Monday in Sterling after he tried to elude a deputy and hit a parked vehicle. William H. Arias-Melendez, 22, of no fixed address was charged with DWI, felony eluding, driving without a license, reckless driving and hit and run, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
