Conservative Christian pastor Bryan Fischer declared in a column for RenewAmerica.com that the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution's guarantee of freedom of religion must only apply to Christianity. Fischer was responding to the Orange County, Florida School District's decision to cease Christian indoctrination in public schools after the U.S. Satanic Temple asserted its right to do the same.

Hard to believe? Well, it seems that the Orange County, Florida school board is moving in that direction. Currently, it is fine for people to distribute religious literature on high school campuses, but ... It seems that those dastardly atheists and Satanists got into the act and started asking to distribute their literature as well as the Bible thumpers, much to the chagrin of said school board.

A police standoff is underway with an armed, barricaded person accused of assaulting a woman with a knife, officials said. Orlando and Apopka police have surrounded a home on Crawford Street in the Woodfield Oaks subdivision in Apopka, where the armed person is hiding, according to police.
