The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office confirms that they are now investigating allegations of sexual abuse at the church. In a statement, the spokesperson said that they could not provide additional details because the investigation is still ongoing.

Chris Trent of Leesburg, a former member of Calvary Temple, came out to protest alleged abuse by the church, including he says, corporal punishment that left red welts on his 4-year-old son's bare bottom.

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office will conduct a sobriety checkpoint on Saturday, March 28, starting at 7:30 p.m. "In the past several years, DUI arrests and DUI-related crashes have steadily declined through the efforts of local, regional and national educational and enforcement campaigns to curb drunk driving," Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman said in a statement. "In Loudoun County, DUI-related arrests declined 12.6 percent between 2010 and 2013, a trend similar to the 17.2 percent decline in DUI arrests observed by law enforcement agencies throughout the country," he added.

The Loudoun County Fire Marshal's Office has determined that a fire on Tuesday that destroyed an abandoned house in Leesburg was caused by arson, county officials said in a statement. There were no civilian or firefighter injuries in the blaze, which caused $280,000 in damage, according to the fire marshal.

Ronal E. Ortiz-Franco, 29, of Sterling; Mario I. Moreno-Herrera, 27, of no fixed address; and Hector Mejia-Soriano, 28, of Maryland were charged with assault by mob, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. No information was disclosed on whether they're being held in jail, released on bond or their next date in court.
