The Loudoun County sheriff's Office is warning residents about a jury duty scam after two Sterling residents lodged complaints Monday. The two victims reportedly received calls from a caller claiming to be with the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Arlington County was the only Northern Virginia county to see an increase in sales in September, compared to a year ago. Long Foster Real Estate Inc. says sales were down in every Northern Virginia county from a year ago except Arlington.

A Sterling man held on a fugitive of justice warrant from Indiana faces felony drug charges after attempting to run from a Loudoun deputy Saturday. A deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at the Sterling Boulevard/Church Road area of Sterling around 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
