The 25th annual Critics' Choice Awards will take place on Sunday, January 12 at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, and will be broadcast on the CW Network. The awards are voted by members of the Critics Choice Association, which consists of television, radio and online critics and journalists who cover film and television.

Bankrupt Trucker Celadon Lays Off 3,800 Workers…

Federal filings reveal trucking giant Celadon declared bankruptcy on December 8th. According to Business Insider, that leaves about 3,800 employees jobless weeks before Christmas. Of those, 1,300 have mostly administrative, non-driving tasks. The majority work in Celadon's Indianapolis, Indiana, headquarters. Celadon immediately ended health insurance for those approximately 1,300 employees. Friday night, Celadon truckers' fuel cards were shut off, causing them to fear being stranded.

A federal grand jury in Denver has indicted a man accused of fatally shooting three people at a Planned Parenthood clinic in 2015. Reuters reports the U.S. District Attorney's office made the announcement on Monday. Robert Dear was taken into federal custody early on Monday at the State Mental Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado. Dear is 61 years old. He's scheduled to appear before a U.S. magistrate in Denver later in the day.
