Never Too Young For Fish Oil


The American Heart Association recommends that everyone eat fish at least twice a week, especially ones that are high in omega-3 fatty acids.

Food is honestly the best bet for getting omega-3s in your diet. And for people who do not like fish we highly recommend taking fish oil supplements.

Omega-3 fatty acids may help to:

  • Lower blood pressure
  • Reduce the likelihood of heart attack and stroke
  • Slow the development of plaque in the arteries

For me, high blood pressure, and strokes run in my family. At age 19, I made sure that I started taking a daily dose of omega-3 fish oil, even though I have fish at least once a week.

I realized that you are never too young to start taking care of your health. Fish oil is one of the many supplements I take daily.
